i was more than excited to be taking pictures of a friend of mine that i've known for years and her sweet family!  we met in jr high school (we won't even think about how many years ago that is) and have always tried to stay in contact with one another but life gets busy.  we could go months, even years without seeing one another but we pick right back up were we left off.  in fact recently i was giggling thinking back about all the "fun" we had in calculus at moorpark college...  she continued on in school and went on to do big things.   i'm so proud of her accomplishments!  i'm so glad that she found her perfect match in donny.  they are definitely meant for one another and they created the most beautiful, sweet, loving baby della.  i'm so glad that we were able to share our pregnancies together and our babies are only a few weeks apart.  so the beach it was for their family pictures, one with lots of palm trees!  thankfully it wasn't too hot out, actually it was a perfect day at venice beach!  della loved touching the sand and getting her feet a little wet.  thank you guys for letting me take your family portraits!  love you!  xoxo

my world...

my matthew and my lena... i have been blessed with beautiful, healthy, happy children.  they make my day, they make me smile inside and out.  after matthew comes home from school, he usually takes a break and plays with lena.  if he doesn't, she will let him know that she isn't happy.  today i decided to whip out the camera...  life is good.

happy 2nd birthday capri!

saturday brought us to little capri's 2nd birthday party.  we had a great time with new friends and old... it was a beautiful day and enjoyed just playing on the swings, eating good food and being with great people! i'm in love with capri's birthday gift - her pink and black tricycle, it's adorable!
