a peek of what i'm working on...

wow what a busy month november was!  i have been trying to get out session after session in time for christmas cards and i've been lagging at keeping up with my blogging..  that will change soon!  so here's a little look at what i've been working on this month!  full blogs to come soon!

the beautiful noe family - i'm so excited that bryn, lacey and mayson will be meeting little brody soon!  ...and how stunning does lacey look pregnant?!!  absolutely glowing!

oh what a fun day this was!  it wasn't hard picking a location for this shoot - manhattan beach is down the street from nat & richard.... perfect!  we started off at my new favorite spot, manhattan beach creamery. not only is this place ideal for pictures (bright/fun colors, unique tables and the nicest employees) but they make their own ice cream sandwiches from scratch. umm...heaven.  we got our walk on and strolled down around the little shops and found some fun places to shoot.  after that we headed onto and under the pier.  it turned out to be an absolute perfect day!  i read something the other day that made me think of this session..."photography isn't just for documenting momentous occasions.  it's so much more than capturing memories.  photography makes memories!"  i had a wonderful day making memories with you guys.  i hope that the next 8 months of wedding planning is full of bliss, not so much stress but most importantly filled with lots of love.  thank you for letting me apart of this day!

i had such a fun time shooting tiff at walnut grove yesterday.  we really braved the elements - it was so windy!  i've been lucky enough to know tiffany for about 15 years and i'm so happy to see where she is in her life.  she's found love and about ready to become a mama!    she has such a sweet soul and anytime we can hang out, it is sure to be filled with laughter and silliness.  i can't wait to meet little cody rion!!!!  good luck mama and lots of joy to come!!

i was more than excited to be taking pictures of a friend of mine that i've known for years and her sweet family!  we met in jr high school (we won't even think about how many years ago that is) and have always tried to stay in contact with one another but life gets busy.  we could go months, even years without seeing one another but we pick right back up were we left off.  in fact recently i was giggling thinking back about all the "fun" we had in calculus at moorpark college...  she continued on in school and went on to do big things.   i'm so proud of her accomplishments!  i'm so glad that she found her perfect match in donny.  they are definitely meant for one another and they created the most beautiful, sweet, loving baby della.  i'm so glad that we were able to share our pregnancies together and our babies are only a few weeks apart.  so the beach it was for their family pictures, one with lots of palm trees!  thankfully it wasn't too hot out, actually it was a perfect day at venice beach!  della loved touching the sand and getting her feet a little wet.  thank you guys for letting me take your family portraits!  love you!  xoxo
